Happy Saturday indeed! This is the first day of a nine day vacation for me. Plus, I just got finished showing a potential client some guitars and he said they all sounded better than his 1947 Martin. Made my day!

NPR - I don't like music when I am trying to think - which is hard enough already!!!

Good Shabbat Hesh!! And a good Saturday to all. I actually have off (mostly) today so I am getting around to a neck reset on an old Vega archtop that a store dropped off a while ago. As for music Bob I find if I listen to anything while I work I am so focused I only notice it when it stops I wish I could listen to music and enjoy it while I work. Happy Labor day all!
Evan

Happy Saturday to all my OLF brethren...

Steve, I have to ask... Who is that austere looking gentleman in your avatar?

Alain, thanks for asking, the person depicted in my avatar is an actual picture of a Courtright ancestor of mine. So, minus the beard and a little less hair on top, too, this could be a picture of me!!! Austere is a good word for Courtrights actually, but I like to think I am more fun than this guy looks. Actually a ham sandwich is more fun than this guy looks... Been dying for someone to ask, so you get the prize! Cheers!

A happy Saturday to you all, too.

As soon as I get my in-laws' Powerbook updated, I'm in the shop!

Doing a little (ok a lot) painting, finishing up the new entrance hall trim and doors.

Tunes ... Stephen Bennett harp compilation CD, and the new Bruce Cockburn.

Am I really the first one to ask? I've been wondering since day one!

I was debating between using 'austere' and 'sober' or 'severe countenance'...

Well thanks for the answer, Steve.

Cheers!

Those are all pretty good, Alain...I kind of like "stoic" - anyway back to building my go-bar deck and sanding my inside mold clamping cauls!

Happy Saturday to one and all! Spent the morning in the shop working on my first commision, but it's now 85 degrees outside, so me and the pup are going for a walk. Then... back to the shop!

Happy saturday night folks! i've been shopping all day with my lovely wife and now i'm tired!

An entire day in my shop would have been very different, i'd feel more energized!

Hesh, i love the lightness and calm of your thread bud, it shows how close we are and just happy to all be here, thanks bro!

It's not quite midnight Saturday here in the Eastern (U.S.) time zone, but it's been Sunday in Australia for almost 14 hours! They live in the future.
